The Parlour at Greenacres is a lovely, completely self-contained luxury Shepherd Hut, built by Blackdown Shepherd Huts. Located on the edge of the Peak District in the Staffordshire Moorlands, it comes with a fully-fitted kitchen, en-suite shower and toilet, and a full-sized double bed and dining area. There’s a radio too (but there’s no TV or WiFi) You won’t miss them with so much beautiful countryside around you to explore.
It’s a chance to get off-grid and leave your hectic life behind for a few days. Watch the sun setting or the cows go up for evening milking. Cook dinner on your Indian kadai firebowl and keep warm sitting around it as the evening cools. Listen to the dawn chorus in the morning while you wake up after a good night’s sleep, then enjoy your coffee and a proper Staffordshire breakfast on your terrace.

Surrounding the Parlour is an orchard of fruit trees, and your front doors open to a spectacular view of open fields, trees and The Weaver Hills in the distance.
A short walk away are miles of trails and tracks through the Churnet Valley. Head towards Dimmingsdale to enjoy an enchanting area of woodland, streams and the lovely Ramblers Retreat Cafe.

Spend a few hours relaxing in a secluded, wood-fired outdoor bath under the stars listening to the sounds of the countryside at night.
Set in our orchard tucked away by the apple tree, is our brand-new Swedish outdoor bath tub.
Whether you are staying in The Barn or The Parlour, take the opportunity to stop and watch the sun set, the cows graze and the stars come out.
We will run the bath, light the fire and then leave the rest to you.
All you need to do is let us know when you want to stop everything and bathe.
